Mixed and evolving projects.
Projects involving several formats, several specialists or requirements that naturally cross service categories.

What a mixed project covers.
Some projects do not fit a single service: a product launch with a website, a video and training material, or a campaign that has to appear in Dutch and three other languages. Here the work is partly language and partly organisation: deciding what needs doing, in what order and by whom, and making sure the pieces agree with each other.
Projects often involve more than one language, discipline or specialist. Tell me about the whole project.
I've worked with people across the language industry for many years and can often help work out who should handle what, bring the right people together or point you towards someone I trust. Sometimes the most useful thing I can do is connect the right people and keep the project moving.
- Projects that combine text, video and digital content
- Work that needs several specialists
- Projects with more than one language
- Projects that are still taking shape
How it works.
You describe the whole project
Even if parts of it are still open.
I map what it needs
Which parts I take on myself and which call for another specialist.
I do the Dutch and help with the rest
Where another language or skill is needed, I can often bring in someone I trust or point you to them.
You have one person to talk to
Someone who knows the whole picture, from the first question to the delivery.
You work with me directly throughout. How I like to work
Why one view of the project helps.
When text, video and digital content are handled separately, they drift: a product is called one thing on the website and another in the subtitles.
Looking at the project as a whole keeps names, terms and tone consistent across every format, and it often shows a simpler route than the one first planned.
What helps me start
- A description of the whole project, however rough
- Whatever material exists so far
- The languages and formats involved
- Your deadline, and anything already decided
Questions people ask.
My project doesn't fit one category. Where do I start?
Start with what you have. Send me the file, website, video, draft or simply the situation, and we can work out what it needs from there.
What if the project also involves other languages?
Dutch is my own language specialization. For other languages I can often help work out who should handle what, bring the right people together or point you towards someone I trust.
Do I need everything ready before I get in touch?
No. Send me the file, website, video, draft or simply the situation, tell me what you want to achieve, and we can work out the right next step from there.
Tell me what you're working on.
A file, a link, a video, a rough explanation or an idea that is still taking shape: send me what you have and tell me what you want to achieve.
